Events for All Saints Burton Dassett
All Saints Church is a very popular venue and is used regularly for concerts, weddings, christenings funerals and a variety of church social and community events. However, at present it lacks toilet and servery facilities. These facilities can help churches to survive and the lack of such facilities is increasingly found to be putting people off from attending church services and events.
Toilets allow churches to become more welcoming to worshippers, especially the elderly and those with young children. Servery facilities enable a wider hospitality through being able to offer refreshments. Both are essential for churches like All Saints wanting to increase use through hosting a variety of worship and local community events such as concerts. Without this accommodation the church is finding the holding of such events is becoming increasingly difficult.
The church and more importantly the PCC (Parochial Church Council) has therefore initiated a project to provide a servery and toilets aptly named “Toilets and Taps” and is therefore in the process of raising funds for this project.

Our 2018 Concert Performers
Da Capo- a cappella Chamber Choir
Da Capo was founded in 2007 under the musical direction of John Adams, since when it has established a considerable reputation for fine a cappella singing. The choir has built a substantial repertoire of music suited to the smaller choir and one which spans 6 centuries and many countries.
`The style of music we enjoy and perform ranges from sacred to secular and from serious to humorous. Our concert programme typically reflect that variety , with a blend of shorter pieces and musical styles which has been well received by our audiences . In addition to staging concerts , we also enjoy visiting cathedrals to sing services when the home choir is on vacation.
Warwick University Brass Society
The University Brass Society is a fun, friendly and lively group to get involved with. The society welcomes all brass players , percussionists and even those who have never picked up a brass instrument before. The award winning ensembles- which include a brass band, a symphonic brass ensemble and a beginners group-welcomes all standards of musicians and are all non auditioned. They have delighted us at Burton Dassett over the last few years as they play their final concert of the academic year . Not to be missed!
